Perfect North Slopes is at it again…After the popularity of last year’s Mud-Stash event, which was held earlier in the fall, the Lawrenceburg-based ski area has scheduled another for this Saturday, May 19.
Popular with runners and adventure-seeking athletes of all ages, the special 5K “mud run” and obstacle course incorporates a variety of challenges ranging from simple hill climbs to mud-crawls, cargo nets, bridges and more. Participants should arrive ready to get dirty as they challenge themselves to the limit during this no-holds-barred course containing nearly 40 obstacles.
The registration fee for this special event is $70 per person, which includes an official Mud-Stash medal upon completing the course. In addition, all competitors will receive a $20 gift card which can be applied toward a variety of perks such as Mud-Stash t-shirts, beverages, food, or even admission to the next Mud-Stash. An after-party, beer garden and live entertainment have also been planned.
Want to invite your friends and family to cheer you on? Spectators will not be charged a gate fee for admission and will be able to purchase concessions throughout the day, so participants are encouraged to bring along fans to support them.
