Lawrenceburg Speedway

Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds, 351 E. Eads Pkwy(St. Rt. 50).

Racing has been ongoing at this legendary track since its opening in May, 1950.
Sprints, modifieds, pure stocks and hornets race on a 3/8 mile, high-banked clay oval track.

Grandstands open at 5PM, racing begins at 6PM.

Tri-State Antique Market

Indiana's largest "antiques and vintage only" collectibles market. Held the first Sunday of the month, May through October. Indoors and outdoors, rain or shine. 250 dealers each month. This market is a treasure hunter's paradise.

City of Spires Historical Museum

111 Fifth Street, Aurora. Open first and third Sundays, June through September, from 1PM-4PM or by appointment.

Aurora memorabilia will be included in a summer 2012 display, part of an extensive collection owned by Dave Hizer of Aurora. Samples of the display are advertising items, from the 19th century to the recent past,
signage, photographs and other items dealing with Aurora history.

City of Spires is located in the former Fifth Street Church, Aurora's oldest house of worship. It is equipped with beautiful stained glass windows, an early 20th century pipe organ and furnishings appropriate to a 19th century Ohio River Valley church.

The facility is available for rent for weddings, memorial services, worship services and other events such as showers, receptions and dinners. It will accommodate up to 90 people.

Obstacle course mud stash running event consisting of a 5K run/walk with a variety of challenging obstacles to be conquered throughout the ski area and surrounding property.

5-K NEDA Walk of Dearborn County

September 8, 10:00AM. (Registration-9:30AM)Dearborn Trails, downtown Lawrenceburg on top level of parking garage at Short and High Streets. Enter garage through Short Street.

Help to promote a positive body image and support individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Entry fees are tax deductible.

Live music by "Falk". Speaker is Meghan Anne Feran, author of "To the Moon and Back: A Daughter/Mother Journey of Eating Disorder Recovery".

The course is a loop-Lawrenceburg to Aurora- with quarter mile markers. Walkers can walk 1/2 mile up to 3.1 miles(5K) maximum.

Dogs are welcome but must have current licenses and be kept on a 6' leash on the Dearborn Trails.
