Relay for Life of Southeast Indiana

June 23-24 – Relay for Life of Dearborn and Ohio Counties – South Dearborn High School Track, St. Rt. 350, Aurora.

Event runs from 9am on Sat., June 23 through 9am on Sun., June 24. This signature event of the American Cancer Society attracts thousands of participants helping in the fight against cancer.

Stop by the Tour for the Cure® pink booth to purchase a t-shirt, hat or bracelet in support of the cause.

Greendale Civic Garden Club's "Garden Party"

Greendale Garden Tour,1PM-5PM.

$10 per adult ticket and children free. Step inside demonstration and private gardens throughout Greendale.

"Windows of Aurora Walking Tour"

7:30PM, Aurora Train Depot, 510 Second Street.

Walk through the downtown historic district with Aurora historian Jim Waldon as your guide. The tour will feature descriptions of all 64 "Windows of Aurora", painted by artists from the Southeastern Indiana Art Guild. This program was started as a collaborative effort in 2007 by Main Street Aurora and the Art Guild.

Unique Aurora Firecracker Festival

1:00PM-11:00PM, Lesko Park, State Route 56, Aurora.

One day event including a prince & princess contest, baby contest, live entertainment and food booths.

SCHEDULE:

12:30PM-Presentation of Colors, Prayer and National Anthem.

12:40PM-Country Kings with Bob Hudson.

2:00PM-Baby Contest Registration.

2:30PM-Showtime Dancers.

3:30PM-Baby Contest.

4:15PM-Rick Grubbs.

5:00PM-Prince and Princess Contest.

6:30PM-Presentation of Colors, Prayer and National Anthem.

6:40PM-Veteran Presentation.

Modulators return after fireworks.

Due to ongoing construction and upgrading of Lesko Park, the festival will be only one day and the crafter's booths and rides will not be part of the festival this year.
