Aurora Community Picnic

Annual event held at 6:00PM at the Aurora City Park Pavilion on Park Avenue.

Sponsored by Main Street Aurora, Aurora Public Library District and the Aurora Lions Club.

The picnic includes pot luck dinner, speeches, prizes and fun. FREE and open to the public.

Aurora Firecracker Festival

Due to Lesko Park construction the Firecracker Festival will be held at the river end of 4th Street at SR 56.

Schedule follows:
4:00PM-Opening prayer/Rev. Charles Hill; presentation of colors-Korean War Veterans; National Anthem-Cheyenne Burress.

4:30-7:00PM/Bob Hudson & The Country Kings.
7:30-10:00PM/Steve Pratt & The Oakey Avenue Band.

10:00PM/Fireworks over the Ohio.
Rain date will be Sunday, July 3rd.

Along with the Festival, River City Classics Car Club Car Show will be held the same day.

Registration takes place from 8:00AM-Noon at 2nd & Main Streets.

Car Show trophy presentation will take place at 3:30PM.

Registration 8AM-Noon at 2nd & Main Streets. Motorcycles welcome.

N.S.R.A representative will be available for FREE safety inspections at Car Show.

Trophies presented at 3:30PM.

Held in conjunction with Aurora Firecracker Festival.
The festival will be held in 2011 at the river end of 4th Street at SR 56, due to construction to Lesko Park.

$100.00 hourly cash drawing 10AM-3PM for registered vehicles only.
