Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds, 351 E. Eads Pkwy (US 50). All classes of short track motorcycles, speedway bikes, ATV's & go-karts. Fri 8/18-Sun 8/20 - Hillforest Victorian House Museum 
213 Fifth Street, Aurora. 1:00PM-5:00PM. Admission charged. Hillforest was the home of industrialist and financier Thomas Gaff and his family between 1855 and 1891. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1992. Featured exhibit for 2017 is Bags, Bonnets & Baubles, showcasing Hillforest's collection of ladies hats and handbags rarely on exhibit. Fri 8/18-Sun 8/20 - River Cities Bike Share  
River Cities Bike Share is the the first bike share program of its kind in Southeast Indiana and features approximately 30 “ready-to-ride” bicycles located throughout the cities of Lawrenceburg and Aurora. Equipped with a locking mechanism, the bikes will be housed at several docking sites in both communities, and can be reserved and rented via an app or onsite.  Each of the Shimano seven-speed bicycles will be available on a ride-and-return basis. The cost to ride is $3 for the first hour and $2 for each additional hour.

Sat 8/19 – Lawrenceburg Farmer's Market
Newtown Park, US Route 50 (Eads Parkway), Lawrenceburg. Sponsored by Lawrenceburg Main Street, the Farmer's Market is held every Saturday, at 9AM-1PM, from June 3rd through October 14th. Some of the products available are: produce, flowers, plants, eggs, honey, herbs, jams, jellies, baked goods, hand crafted items and more. Sat 8/19 - Casey's Youth Fishing Derby - August 19th
9:00am - 11:30am.  Casey's Outdoor Solutions 21481 Stateline Road, Bright IN  47025. Ages 3-16. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Bring the kids to Casey's so they can drop a line in our pond and try their luck at fishing.  Poles & bait provided by Northern Kentucky Fly Fishers or participants can bring their own.  Trophies awarded for the 1st Catch, Largest Catch, & Most Caught.  Fishing can work up an appetite so they will be firing up the grill.

Sat 8/19 - Bee Happy! Celebrate National Honey Bee Day
11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Casey's Outdoor Solutions, 21481 State Line Road, Lawrenceburg. Become educated on what you can do to help save the declining population of honey bees. The guest speaker will discuss how to start your own bee hive and the health benefits of honey. A local vendor will have honey available for purchase. Honey inspired refreshments will be served. Sat 8/18-Sun 8/19 - Southeastern Indiana Art Guild Regional Art Exhibit
Art Guild Studios, Second & Main Streets, Aurora. All artists within a 75 mile radius are invited to participate in the 4th Regional Art Exhibit. Cash awards given. Watercolor, oil, acrylics, colored pencil/graphite, pastels and mixed media/3-D photography are included in this exhibit. Special category for children ages 10-17 years old. Friday: 11AM-7PM. Sat 8/19 - Special Olympics Fire Truck Pull
12PM-8PM, at the corner of East High and Short Streets, downtown Lawrenceburg. Teams of 15 pull a 74,000 pound fire truck fifty feet in the least amount of time and raise money to support Special Olympics Indiana-Ripley, Ohio, Dearborn Counties athletes. Included in the day are the fire truck competition, antique fire trucks, cars, food and music. The Jack Wagon Band plays from 6-8PM to round out the day. Children 8 years and older can register for the Kiddie Pull. Children of all ages can visit Safety Town and Happy Hooves Petting Zoo and enjoy pony rides. The Fire Truck Pull is free to attend. Sun 8/20 - City of Spires Museum Summer Art Display
City of Spires Historical Museum and Foundation, Inc., 111 Fifth Streetr, Aurora. The 2017 Summer Art Display features artwork by youth from Southeastern Indiana.  In addition to the artwork, guests are treated to a glimpse of the charming 1848 sanctuary of the former First Evangelical United Church of Christ. City of Spires will be open from 1PM-4PM on the first and third Sundays of the month from June through September. It is also open by appointment by calling 812 926-0944. There is no charge to visit the museum.
