Early Spring Waterfowl Migration in the Oxbow
February 25@ 8:00 am
Parking lot off State Route 50, Greendale, Indiana.
Many species of waterfowl (ducks, geese and swans) migrate through the Oxbow in large numbers every spring. This is also a good time to find large numbers of Bald Eagles in the Oxbow area. Other seasonal residents and early spring migrants should also be found, including hawks, gulls, grebes, herons and songbirds.
Dress appropriately for cold weather and mud! The trip should be completed before noon.
Leader Joe Bens is very familiar with the Oxbow. If you have any questions contact him at 513-353-4229 or firstname.lastname@example.org
