Fri 4/28 - Dearborn Highlands Arts Council Gallery Exhibition
11AM-4PM. 331 Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg. The month-long exhibition highlights the artwork of PL Deaton and JA Campbell. Pamela L. Deaton is a sculptor and art ecucator at Franklin County High School. Her work has always been influenced by nature and the human figure. Jessica A. Campbell is a visual artist in addition to being a Staff Sargeant in the United States Air Force. Fri 4/28 - Aurora Rummage Sale

Fri 4/28-Sun 4/30 - Hillforest Victorian House Museum
213 Fifth Street, Aurora. 1:00PM-5:00PM. Admission charged. Hillforest was the home of industrialist and financier Thomas Gaff and his family between 1855 and 1891. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1992. Featured exhibit for 2017 is Bags, Bonnets & Baubles, showcasing Hillforest's collection of ladies hats and handbags rarely on exhibit. For more information: 812 926-0087 or   http://hillforest.org

Sat 4/29 - River Cities Bike Share Program Opens
Ribbon cuttings for the River Cities Bike Share Program will be in three locations Saturday, April 29th. The first will be across from Aurora City Hall on Main Street, at the city parking lot, at 10:30AM. Included are a bicycle safety check station and free water bottles. The second will be at the Manchester Landing trailhead of Dearborn Trails behind CVS in Aurora at 11:30AM. The third will be outside the Lawrenceburg Event Center at High & Walnut Streets, at 1:00PM. Snacks and drinks will be served after the ceremony. Each city will offer 15 Shimano seven-speed bicycles on a ride-and-return basis. Rental rates are $3.00 for the first hour and $2.00 for each additional hour. The Bike Share Program and area promoters are combining with Green Umbrella, a regional sustainability alliance, and will be included in their "Opening Day on the Trail" campaign. Sat 4/29 - Casey's 11th Annual Customer Appreciation Day
9am-1pm. Casey's Outdoor Solutions, 21481 State Line Rd, Lawrenceburg. Join us for a fun-filled family day featuring great sales, good, live music, a bouncy house for the kids and a speical guest speaker from the Cincinnati Z00 & Botanical Garden. Sun 4/30 - Dearborn Community Foundation SUPERHERO 5K Run/Walk
1:00PM at Dearborn Trails, by Ivy Tech, in downtown Lawrenceburg. Presented by the Dearborn Community Foundation Youth Council. Proceeds split 50-50 between Special Olympics Indiana, Ripley Ohio Dearborn Counties and the DCF Youth Council Endowment Fund, which awards grants to charitable causes in our local communities. Pre-registration, until April 11th, includes a t-shirt. $20/age 15 and older; $15/age 14 and under. After April 11th: $25 & $20. Dress up as your favorite Superhero!
